Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman (Why Fry a Turkey when You can Zot Them?)

Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman. It is a great law but lying republicans are trying to destroy it. I signed up with no problem on the website. Republicans want to repeal my new insurance. Obama is a hero!

I use onions, sliced ham or turkey, and yellow mustard. That reminds me, I need to make a sandwich for later.

Thanks, Nully! I’ll be leaving in a little over an hour, so I’m looking forward to a nice day!

A visibly nice day!

I hope you get through all your required activity.

Snowing again here, this time for a potential accumulation up to maybe five inches.

I know that may not sound like much to some of you, but here it means you have to deal with some pretty deranged idiots out on the highway.

So far I’ve begged off on going out in it, for the good and practical reason that it would prove me to be nuts.

I will do fine! I have a wonderful cheering section who likes to pray for everyone, so I’m not a bit worried!

We get the same reaction here with rain...snow would cause chaos of the First Order!

25 degrees, right now. *shiver*

28° here. Same as yesterday. If I wanted 28°, I’d move to ColdOne’s neighborhood.

Just a little bit of snow (couplo of inches) used to paralyze the urban areas where I lived as a kid. After I thawed out, nothing had fallen off. I rake two barrels of leaves at a time to spread as mulch on the fenced garden area. (Surefire method of improving the soil’s structure and health per JRandomFReeper on the garden thread. Last year, the leaves collected on the day-lily beds and we left them there. Better weed barrier than that black fabric stuff!

Oops!

By accident we learn things,
Intentions hardly count.
All the stuff you know you’ll need,
Isn’t a large amount.

Pain we have still with us,
Our teacher from the start,
We might prefer such guidance had,
Not so perfected the art.

But what we learn by accident,
Is often worth much more,
The mysteries you bump into,
You won’t find in an open door.

I found a possible job last year that I didn’t apply for, even though it was a pretty good fit.

I checked the weather and it was -50°C that day.

Besides, I don’t speak Russian...
