Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman (Why Fry a Turkey when You can Zot Them?)

Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman. It is a great law but lying republicans are trying to destroy it. I signed up with no problem on the website. Republicans want to repeal my new insurance. Obama is a hero!

What does Bill want for Christmas, within reason?

It’s just barely above freezing outside and I’m bundled up inside. Man! I hate the cold.

I’m working on decorating the tree, but I have to put the little hangers on the second batch of ornaments. Maybe next year, it will look better!

I need to get something to eat before I see the doctor, but I have no idea what I want. Maybe I’ll heat up the last little bit of lasagna.

I don’t have to exhort you to take care, but if I don’t it’ll be my fault if you meet another Bambi so please take this benediction in a positive spirit.

I’m going to put Kathleen to bed and then have something with spinach.

Speaking of missing wreath hangers, I don’t know how you can keep track of anything at your house what with nine offspring and two cats relocating things. Our cats like to drop small objects down the heat registers.

I had kids who did that. Fortunately, the registers are in the ceiling here.

Several of us strongly believe the wreath hanger is in the garage, but we haven’t found it.

The lasagna was good, but I’m glad it’s gone. Less temptation.

It would be nice to have a nap, but I need to leave in about 30 minutes. *sigh*

As excited as I was about putting the tree up, I’m not looking forward to the rest of the decorations. I wonder why that is? I think it’s the cfids trying to make itself known. Dang.

Glad to hear of warmth and sunshine!

Where'd you get the idea to live on a boat? Are you very good at fixing things? My husband was batting around the idea of living on a houseboat, but he respected my panic at the prospect of sleeping on anything that leaks. (He peeled me off the ceiling when he suggested a waterbed many years ago. He has the strength and endurance of a diesel, and a bazillion skillsets. It's all well and good when he's doing OK, but when he breaks his foot and tibia while we're traveling cross-country in the motor home, it's another story when I have to do the legwork. [That was a riot! He had to lean out the window and yell instructions. I have a talent for breaking things--yes, even heavy duty industrial strength things.])

Enjoy your crunchies!

I can find my wreath holder, but I need a second one.

Maybe Wednesday will see me with a brighter frame of mind. I have no clue what’s going on with me today. And I just noticed when I came out of the kitchen, that the tree is lop-sided. I didn’t get one of the braces seated properly.

And there are open spaces in the branches...NO FAIR!!!

Just between you, me and the wall, I’d hang the skates.

That’s how I’m leaning, but...for now, I have the wreath tied to the door.

I think I need another string of 100 lights and more ornaments on the tree...And maybe some bows...

This is going to be a busy week... blood draw and eye surgery tomorrow and a complete physical on Friday. Ungh...

I want to cancel the latter. They keep nagging me to have tests involving radiation, and I’m not having any of that any more. I’ve had enough Rads in my life to glow in the dark forever.

And I’m yawning! The Evil Sleeps will get me yet, today!

I had a nineteen foot sailboat when I was in my 20’s and I needed some time away from a nurse I was living with...turned into a year and a half.

Basic repair I can do; not a mechanic...I try to keep everything simple as possible.
