Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman (Why Fry a Turkey when You can Zot Them?)

Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman. It is a great law but lying republicans are trying to destroy it. I signed up with no problem on the website. Republicans want to repeal my new insurance. Obama is a hero!

Did I happen to mention it’s 80°...

With five kittehs, we’d go broke doing that. Well, they do get Boar’s Head turkey from the Deli a few times a week. They won’t tolerate anything less.

Cyber finally parted the lava sea on his side and is up and getting ready to visit his fam down the road apiece to bring their presents.

We’re thinking of putting off our Christmas dinner until tomorrow because we are tired and lazy. LOL!!!

Isn’t there an old story about the birth of Baby Jesus as January 6? I went to Catholic School all of my life, and we were actually told that. In my fam, we always took the tree and decorations down on that day.

Other than the Insane Fred, we have four other kittehs. Three of which jump over the lava onto ~my~ body for pets and treats in the middle of the night. I get tired...

Merry Christmas! Thank you for the fabulous cat pix every single day. I so look forward to them ...

The ever so happy Mrs. Liberty

December 26 is “the Feast of Stephen,” famous from the carol “Good King Wenceslaus.” It’s as good a day to eat as any. January 6 is Epiphany, which is when most of the world gets their presents.

I have it easy with only the two cats!

OldTax-lady phoned. She said she’s having a nice visit from my brother and sister-in-law. Dad had two teeth removed yesterday, without complications. Taking an Alzheimer’s patient to the dentist is tricky! She hopes that his disposition will improve now that his teeth don’t hurt.

I hope you’re feeling okay today! We’re going to eat in about an hour. I got Kathleen a set of 100 Beatrix Potter postcards, and I helped her and Frank write notes to Mom. Kathleen wanted a card with mousies.

I just noticed it’s Five O’clock Somewhere, including here.

"I just noticed it’s Five O’clock Somewhere, including here."

Five O'clock races around the planet at a thousand miles an hour.

I always find that a cheering thought.

If I were five O’clock, where would I go to relax?

A shadowed place somewhere?

My parents had 11 children. I understand you’re almost there. Their last two children were twins when I was 14. Changing diapers in those days was very painful. My thumbs were always bleeding. LOL!

Next to four and six o’clock. Really, did I have to tell you that?

We “just” have 10. Having another isn’t impossible, but at 48, it’s a bit unlikely.

I never thought of it that way, but it's a good way of looking at it.

According to NASA, when they're not reaching out to Muslims and proving hokum theories for fun and profit, they're measuring the speed at just over 1,000 MPH at the Equator. Of course, if you're at the North or South Pole, it's much slower, but then if one doesn't like the time, one can hike a few feet to whatever time one wants, as one freezes to death because one is dressed for Golf in Hawaii.

Link.

You never know when you may be dealing with someone who trained on digital clocks.

Merry Christmas! Do you want to be on the Morning Kitteh ping list? I don’t think you are.

There are four cats on the bed. Help!

We’re in the middle of the desert, and it’s only 70 here.
