How many controversial game changing plays are there every week? I have seen at least 5 articles about this splashed all over the internet this morning. Good God. If this was any other team besides the Patriots, would this be a news story? Tough turdies Tom! BTW, it was the right call.

How many controversial game changing plays are there every week?

Funny, isn't it, that when we had 'replacement refs", blown or controversial calls were headline news on all sources. The "regular refs" somehow tend to get a pass for just as many of the same situations.

Plays that happen at the end of the game always get more coverage than other equally controversial play calls earlier, in part because it is easier to see how they impacted the game, and because you can’t recover from them.
