The power company says we had 90 mph wind this morning. Had trees fall across the main power line up the canyon and 89 residences had trees fall across the feed to their homes. I went out again and I counted 7 trees that blew over in my yard.
Mrs p6 is taunting me...what am I going to do between now and February.
Even worse ...she will be watching the winter olympics on the liv rm tv. Maybe time to upgrade on the bedroom tv.
Next life..monk...mountain...no wimmink..,no kids...grow my own food...brew my own beer...talk with the animals...transcribe the scriptures...chant a lot.
I need to find my retirement hermit home. Hoping there is some affordable land east of here that I can snag... but with the metro expanding and oil exploration, might have to look into Kansas, Nebraska, or the Dakotas.

I have been suffering from that storm coming over all day, pain wise. Really ramped up pain levels. I haven’t done that much physically to account for it otherwise, must be weather.

YOU’RE FROM BAKERSFIELD??? I attended some Midget cars and Hardtops races there. Also Fresno and Madera. Also drag raced at Formosa once in about 1952
Yeah, we still have the local dirt track, Famosa Dragstrip and a new NASCAR (mostly Southwest Series) track. A fellow I work with is married to Harvick’s wife’s sister.
Oh my gosh I called it too soon. Keokuk29fan won the league championship and finished 11 points ahead of TowMater and 12 ahead of Banana Slug Racing. Could you ping the group and let them know. My sincerely apologies to you Keokuk29fan.
That’s ok. I didn’t check until this morning. I was surprised as heck that I won as bad as the last half of my season was. I had fun this year. See you all next year.
Thank you for hosting this year. In answer to your question I have a pressing desire that you continue to host. I know that I should have that responsibility, but I am lucky to get my drivers picked. I missed one week and had to go with the drivers I picked the week before. I feel you have done a great job this year and look forward to the starting of the next season.
