I would like to thank all who have welcomed me within the past almost 3 wks; esp ., "the old lady". I also vividly recall also "null and void" & lazmataz.
It's been nice having a posting priviledge here as a guest but I don't think FR is for me.
I'm a Constitutional Conservative and as many conservative opinions are voiced here I'm not seeing what I'm personally looking for in commentary.
It's sort of like dating isn't it? After a few dates, a few comments,a few opinions, one begins to draw conclusions. Free Republic just isn't for me.
I prefer a much more constitutionally conservative site to voice my opinion.
I wish you all well and thank you for welcoming me during this time to Free Republic.

Tis a lovely day to hit 600, no?
It is a lovely day here. It’s a crisp 41° with a light overcast.
The last of the snow should melt today, except perhaps on the north side of our house,
The Fortress, where the Sun cannot reach the snow accumulated there.
There is a slight breeze, 3.6 MPH, but not enough to stir the fallen leaves. It may pick
up later.
So it would be great if we hit Post 600 today.
We are so close to 600!

We’re in DE, and have not had a lot of snow since the Blizzards of Feb. 2010.
Getting too ancient to shovel that stuff.

Me neither.
I like a lot of Korean music but I guess I’m still picky.
We have a long driveway, a large concrete pad in front of the garage, and two walkways.
So Bryan bought a snow thrower for the lawn tractor. No shoveling for him!
I get to shovel the front and back porches (the thrower can’t reach), plus clean up the snow
missed or dropped by the thrower.
I thought it was catchy and weirdly entertaining and fascinating in a car-wreck sort of way.
It tends to have a love/hate relationship with its “fans.”
Still wondering what “gangnam” means in Korean. Not sure I really want to know. [smiles]
It means South of the River or something, referring to a wealthy district in Korean, it pokes fun of the pretentious or something
LOL! Kids could have nightmares watching those wrecks—which are actually done in a very cool way.
Hope those engines can do the crash scenes in only one take.
