Neighbor's chicken escaped. I caught it. Now what?

Coop (in the garage) is closed up, dunno how the chicken got out. semi-urban area with coyotes. If I open door, I figure there might be a mass break out. I have it in a box now. Seems friendly. Fed it some rice.

Boil a hot pot of water. When boiling cut the chickens head off-a teachable moment for kids. When the chicken stops running dip it in the boiling water. L ast, pull the feathers off(pluck them). Fresh meat.

Growing up my brother raised rabbits. So did his buddy 3 blocks down the street. One summer morning his buddys rabbit showed up looking for some nookie. Dad took one look at it and invited the guest for dinner.
