Good point.
Not going to defend Hooters and such places. But you are right, that it would be ok to go see “Brokeback Mountain”, for example. It’s already considered legal and accepted to take your underage daughter for an abortion without parental consent. Against this backdrop, why is taking the kids to Hooters not acceptable????
I think parents should have the final say about things like that
because they weren’t his kids?
“Now, if he took the boys to a movie about homosexual sex he would be called progressive”
You said it, not a piss or a moan about it.
However, taking middle aged boys to Hooters.....not so sure about that. I think it sets unreasonable expectations.
Coach ping.
The upside of this is that Hooters is going to comp the party.
Aside from showing some cleavage, I bet their girls volleyball team wears uniforms just as revealing. The Hooters ladies wear flesh-toned tights under their shorts, so in that respect, they are at least as conservative as any girls volleyball shorts that often clearly show camel toes.
Yup. He makes the men. The schools want to make them faggots.
Middle school is probably too young to take a class of boys there. I can understand parents being upset. High school or college, I wouldn’t have a problem.
Yeah, a kid can see more at almost any American beach for free in the summer than they can at Hooters or other “breastraunts”. At most of these places, the food is subpar though. It’s all about the distractions.
Middle school? No. Though the HS kids went to Hooters once or twice. Not me.
Agreed.
What middle school boy would not want to go to Hooters?
Parents are no fun.
But, if all those Corbett Middle School boys boycott all sports permanently in support of the coach, protesting the sociopathic hatred of Owls, then we have boys with stones.
Here in my neck of the woods (west of Denver) a new restaurant has opened up..."Twin Peaks". Here's a picture (from their website) of one of their waitresses:
I think I'll have to give them a try...for the food, of course. :-)
I’ve seen moms at USA volleyball juniors tournaments that show more cleavage than Hooters waitresses.
“I bet their girls volleyball team wears uniforms just as revealing.”
My sons tell me the women’s volleyball matches at Purdue are well-attended by students. Women’s basketball; not so much.
We’re going to have to speed Glowbull Warming up a lot before the boys around here see anything like that. I’m hoping it gets over 20 today.
I dated a Purdue grad years ago. She had nice legs. :-)
