“...I’m not big on Zombie shows...”

Yeah, they’re definitely an acquired thing...

I remember when I saw the original “Dawn of the Dead” in the theater in 1978; it was such a shocking change from the old 1940s “zombie” movies.

I found it compelling; a real shift in the SHTF/TEOTWAWKI scenario.

As they got progressively more grotesque and gory over the years, I lost interest in them. But “The Walking Dead” came along, and it looked interesting to me, so I started watching it.

As stupid as some of the Hollywood writing is, they still managed to do a pretty decent job with it.

Overall, I give it a B+ as horror/sci-fi goes.

To my mind, “Aliens” still tops the bill... kick ass monster movie (aside from all the lib crap in it).

I think the first “Alien” movie is a top of the list all-time great horror flick. the creature still gives me chills.

Yes. Although it’s getting PC (which is one reason I’m getting bored with it).
