I think it is the little girl who was naming the Walkers.
That's who it was........

Why don't they kill the “fence” zombies when they are right there and a simple knife through the head does the job? Don't even have to use any bullets. Yet, here's Rick playing Farmer Brown while, not ten feet away, the zombies are gathering, reaching for him and watching. If they dispatched with them as they came to the fence, they wouldn't have to worry about a large herd eventually trying to knock the fence down.

What do I in NY and The Walking Dead have in common? We’d both be better off without our Governors!

Don’t forget, the Grateful Dead concert goers are heading their way........

LOL! 7000, I think. Worse than Custer.
I think you’re right. the Gov. will show up when they’re out in the open.

Lori's pregnancy, too. When season three starts, they have spent the winter going from house to house across neighborhoods, so they didn't spend the whole winter out in the elements eating bugs - though when Carl finds a can of dog food and starts to eat it, Rick says it's time to move on again. Then, on a scouting trip, Rick spots the prison. All those cars with nobody in them, made me wonder why they didn't pick something that could get everyone out...but then the series would be over. ;o)

I was thinking they could use long pikes so as to stay inside the inner fence for even more safety. Although they would need to go outside the wire once in awhile to keep the dead bodies from piling up.

I think they want some of the walkers to be out there as a deterrent to other humans. That said, it looks like they have regular cullings at the fence to keep the Walkers at a manageable level.
My theory is that the Governor is using animals to create a Hansel & Gretel trail to the prison fence and he’s got somebody on the inside feeding the Walkers rats.

any attempt will leave gaping holes because its a flawed premise and any explanation would have to jive with 4 years of precedence in episode footage.
Just curious, what is the "flawed premise" you are referring to? Is it how the virus started? Why can't it be explained since all we've seen is the aftermath?

I dont see they can even eat anything after all the gore.
It's like eating beets........they taste like crap but if your mother continues to feed them to you day after day after day, and FORCES you to eat them, you just get used to them.

Or were at least allowed to camp in their tents inside a barn.
If you're talking about Hershell's farm, don't forget, Hershell was storing walkers in the barn in the hopes of eventually curing them..........

NJ and Texas were where my Aunt was stationed. Maybe they rubbed elbows. But it was a BIG war.

They don’t even close their mouths when they jab a walker in the head and it squirts. LOL

the governor is long gone and likely setting up house in some other city. He's not a threat to the prison.......

And that’s probably how Karen and “David” got the flu. They both had fence duty. Not sure how Patrick got it.
To: Hot Tabasco
Simply having someone at the fence feeding Walkers with live rats would not attract Walkers in such large numbers. That’s why I think somebody has set up a trail to bring them to the prison.
To: ConjunctionJunction
Good point.
Wow, an intense start tonight.

Very intense. And now we know that Karen and David were killed while they were still alive/human. Hershel said they were “killed in cold blood”.
