Those are in excellent condition for being buried so long.

Has been for the past 4.3 billion years.

That we are getting back that people enjoyed 5400 years ago is “cause for concern”.

I just cant help thinking how POd that guy must have been when he lost those...Maybe he didn't lose them; perhaps he died or was killed on that site and the scavengers scattered his remains, but took no interest in his weaponry. Look downhill for teeth or fragments of bone.

Ignore the fact that the climate 5000 years ago is similar to now, with nearly no humans and no CO2 generation. Then the ice and snow built up and has now receeded. Nope, all our fault, not a natural climate cycle.

Let's think about this....It would have been on top of snow....and when it melted, it would have gone into the unknown vein from long ago. There are other transport possibilities, too.
So what was the period of time from where and when it was lost until where and when it was found. I think it's really impossible to say.
Stone age or convenience.

Those are in excellent condition for being buried so long. I've got stuff that got buried in my freezer that looks worse than that.

Why? It only proves that the Earth was once warmer.

I'm getting worried about the dinosaurs dying out again.

“Dating revealed the Neolithic bow was about 3,800 years old, while the oldest of the arrows were 5,400 years old.”
I must question the 1400 year age difference between an arrow and the bow.

The arrow was a family heirloom in a family of poor hunters. It had been passed down for 1400 years but they had never managed to hit anything with it.
