During the Korean War, the NorKors and Chinese would attack in waves, only the first line would actually have guns, the subsequent lines would pick up guns off the dead as they charged.

That’s why I’ve said many times, WW2 should have seen Germany and Russia kill each other off; there would have been a lot less problems in the world.
