I think #2 is a much better indicator....
If Obama revisits immigration reform it’s only because he thinks he has the political capital to move his agenda. Where did this new, political capital come from?
Why is he saying this is over?
Under the agreement, the government would be funded through Jan. 15, and the debt ceiling would be raised until Feb. 7.
This ain’t over. Just delayed.

The only ones benefiting from this deal is the banking elites and the Chinese.
I think you should default. You have enough food production to be self sustained.
Sadly, even with a default I would suspect the new government to be starting to lend money again.
Of course he hasn’t won on everything but he did win the latest fight and that win will make him much harder to defeat when it comes to immigration reform. Obama is stronger than he was before the shutdown fight but it’s yet to be seen if he’s strong enough to make immigration reform become law.
We’ll continue to fight...after all what else can we do?
We need to JOIN together, regardless minor differing opinions. One of the reasons the Marxists are successful is BECAUSE THEIR MESSAGE IS CONSISTENT AND UNIFORM. The GOP can't get in unison on ANYTHING. When we get our asses kicked by a senior citizen MARXIST HAG named Pelosi, we are in deep trouble.
It's not all bad. The debt ceiling hike is in place only for a couple of months. That's not what either Obama or Reid wanted because debate continue now on the whole issue of debt.
Sequestration did not get touched. That means a new round of cuts in Gov't growth happens in January. Again, not something Reid or Obama wanted.
Obama could not get gun control done. And he won't get immigration done either despite what Carney says. He can't because he doesn't know how to lead.
Obamacare is doing awful. Just awful. We get to see more of the crashing in coming weeks.
I hope you are right about amnesty, BTW. That would exceed Obamacare in devastating effect.
That will send the unemployment rate for Holder's people up to around 80% and drive up the Obamacare premiums another 200% to cover all the subsidized illegals.
There's not going to be any way to recover from the Obama presidency as it is, so we might as well go for a scorched earth approach. The sooner we hit bottom and have a civil war, the sooner the next generations can start over and build something new.
