If semi-automatic wolves killed it by piling on it and ripping it’s windpipe out and eating it alive, some would think that’s a far better alternative, natives would do a dance, and Gaia would be appeased.

The thing is that you need predators where you have prey.
Humans or wild animals are your choices.
Humans take less and do less damage then the wild predators do especially in areas where hunting is not allowed at all.
