There are so many from overnight, they started foaming. You can see how dark the brew is.
Here is some of the biochar and broken pottery that will go into a small area. I will pre-load the bio-char (low temp charcoal that I made) with the bacteria that I grew last night and turn all of that under.
My goal is to make 'terra preta' that the ancients in South America used to turn unproductive land into some of the most productive land on the planet.

Wow, I am impressed. Now I feel like a lazy bum because I sometimes find it a magor effort to make time to open up a can of "Shake and Feed" and sprinkle it around my plants.
Making low temp charcoal this morning in a makeshift pyrolyzer. Problem is that I can only make a little over a quart of charcoal at a time, and I need cubic feet of the stuff.
I've got my scouts looking for junk I can build a larger one with. My junk pile came up short this time.
Added advantage is that it makes the greenies crazy, since I'm releasing all that carbon into the air.
