Could it have been the result of somebody taking a turn too quickly and sliding off the road?

Giant birdie picking up the cars and dropping them on shiny surface to crack the shells. Ooops. Bird acting stupidly.

Then going back to wherever it came from. Still hungry.

Damn GPS told them to turn ....!

(In my town had a moron drive past a barricade down a flooded street - had to rescue him by boat! When questioned by cops said GPS told him to turn down this road)
