Miss Kansas, Teressa Vail was the winner of ABC’s America’s Choice, an online competition where viewers were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite Miss America contestant.

Final ten. Not the final five.

Singing performance not as strong as it needed to be.

How did Miss Kansas do? While she was my favorite contestant going in, she did not finish her song well. Good through the first 3/4, she went off pitch at the end. The talent portion was the biggest portion of the points, so it makes sense that she didn’t get past that point.

This was the first Miss America pageant I’ve watched in years, mostly because of Miss Kansas. The winner really did do well, and the picture posted did not do her justice. She really is a babe, and her performance dance was extremely well performed.

She never stood a chance.

The handwriting was on the...er...wall.
