It sure is making us all think. The Christians in this area are finding security under Assad and Putin. We offer them nothing, absolutely nothing.
We had a chance to be a player in the Middle East. Obama blew it with that stupid “Arab Spring” nonsense.

Well just as in this case...we’ve been ready to after Syria twice now and it’s been stalled.....how long this will stall is not in mans hands IMO.....they are simply being used in a much larger war we’re seeing play out here.
That aside...whatever Obama does or doesn’t do...he’s out of the pickle he was in...because he’s parked this war directly onto Putin and Syria now.
There is no good outcome to Syria...the country is practically destroyed...but significant to the Arabs for their Caliphat.....meanwhile the Sunni/Shite war will continue on determining which one will get the prize of ruling over the ME nations.
Russia China Europe and the Us will continue to meddle in all this but both are weakened now.....each takes a turn at appearing as the stronger but reality says all the wealth is in the ME......and now Israel has her gas wells too....so they’ll be going after those all in good time.

Well that may very well be ‘the hook’ that brings russia into the thick of it by that I mean into Syria with their own troops....and too close to Israel then for comfort........but let’s not forget China standing by in this...like Russia they have their hand hidden close to their chest until they are ready to play and see the advantage they will have by doing so.
The game is on and will at best slow..at most wars will continue and gather steam again...it’s not in the least over.

So true! It may not be 100% idiocy. It's hard to make the right decision for your country when your objective is to teach your country a lesson for all the "evil" it has done in the past and especially when your foreign policy aims to empower enemies of the United States such as Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood and replace US allies with those enemies who hate America.

Israel has threatened to flatten Damascus if they get bombed...
Meanwhile Iran sits over there and watches the game while it continues to develope Nuclear Bombs to take out Israel.
Looks like the world is sitting up for a man with all the answers.....
These are dangerous times, and I think to a large degree Obama doesn’t like to be shown up. He is going to get us into a fighting war over his hurt pride. No doubt in my mind.

It’s been a long time since our representatives or administration has been running our country...all you have to do is look where we are today...look how the phoney elections have gone....and how short of time it took to knock our feet from under the people.
There is no opposition....and it’s all about the International Community and it’s leaders now...they are all playing all the people of every nation now.... we are really only sitting in the batters box waiting til it’s time for us to be called........and it will always be with Military Force and our troops.
Make no mistake the man is a very shrewd operator and knows precisely what he is doing.....but he's still bad.
Putin literally hates the Jihadists and their like....he knows them well and they don’t dare oppose him in his country..if they attempt or even look like or sound like a Jihadists he simply executes them.

Yes, I agree, we offer them nothing, as a nation.
The thing is, God has given man (mankind)His revelation of Himself and of man’s root problem, and of His Sending His Son to set man free from the root problem so he can have eternal life, and most people do not want to hear it. (The way to life is narrow, Matthew 7:14.)
Discussion can go on “ad infinitum,” AND it has already gone on “ad nauseam,” and there is no way man can fix his world, his country, his leaders, his family, or even himself. God has spoken all He is going to speak in His Word, the Bible, which He says men will continue to ignore to the very end. (2 Peter 3:1-18).
True Christians all over the world who believe in His Son and study His Word and live in obedience to it, do not find their security in their leaders.
Psalm 2 speaks of the nations (all of them) and their rejection of their Creator and His Son, and the outcome for all those who do not take warning. Interesting that this Psalm was written around 1,000 years before God’s Son, Jesus Christ, was born. The Psalm is a solemn call to repentance and faith in the Son. It is to individuals of all nations. The deception and wickedness of the world will not be “fixed” until the Son returns to this earth to rule it. While man looks everywhere else for answers to life, they are all in the Bible and fulfilled in His Son (Matthew 5:17-18).
