Unbelievable — I hope he wins big in his civil suit.
But rest easy Californians — his assailant is still on the job serving the public safety.
Time to thin the heard.
“The public if they get stopped and simply comply with what they are asked to do, they have nothing to fear, nothing to fear at all,” said Acting Chief Ken Hill”
Refusing to sign a ticket does not give the Gendarmerie the right to beat someone close to death, Mr. Hill.
Unless there are significant facts to the contrary that the reporter left out of the story, Hill needs to be fired and the officers need to be prosecuted.
heard = herd - need coffee
Crooked cops + Steroids = Senseless death and destruction
People really do wonder why no one likes cops anymore. These roid junkies should be disarmed and thrown out of the police force with a catapult.
Typical cops demanding the respect they are too stupid to
earn. Punk cop and dumb cop don’t care. All they want is
that gun and badge to get back at the world.
According to acting jackboot Ken Hill you have nothing to
fear if you comply with what they ask you to do. Now we
know what happens when you don’t. Sad to say this is becoming
the national norm.
The moral of the story is, do what the cops say or get beat
to death. And remember, you can never trust a cop, they
think they are over and above the rest of us.
I’m sure he’d rather have his sight and brain function back, given a choice.
Keep in mind Kalifornia is home to “burn that motherf@cker” style law enforcement types. Really professional bunch.
Good thing he wasn’t with a baby deer or the family dog. Then they would have had to bring in the SWAT team. He should have just said he was carrying a load of illegal in from Mexico and as soon as he was going to drop them off at the food stamp office he was going to rest.
There is them and there is us. Gomez is part of the ruling class. He earned it. Just pay your taxes and shut up, peasant!
BTTT
Gosh,where are all the bootlickers?
This is such an obvious abuse of authority no one with a functioning brain cell can support the cops involved.
....or something.
I was made to sign a ticket with countless bogus charges once. The officer even told me it looked like I wasn’t wearing my contact lenses. I offered to take one out to show him. He relented.
A couple blocks away I was reviewing the ticket (to see when/where I needed to appear and just what I had been charged with (speeding 4-5 miles over the limit, unsafe lane change, and something else I KNOW he did not mention and that I was not guilty of like seat belt or something).
The ticket copy I had revealed the carbon information from several tickets he’d written to different drivers. I circled around and returned to the scene of the speed trap (three separate police cars writing evening rush hour tickets at the bottom of hill as quickly as they could).
He took a look at the mess of a ticket I had in my had. He told me it was my “lucky day” then demanded I hand over every piece of the paperwork I’d been given. He tore up what I’d handed him (but I did not see him tear up the original ticket). He told me to go on my way.
I waited a couple of weeks in fear/suspicion that the initial signed ticket would still be filed and that I would be found guilty of failure to appear in court over the ticket(s).
It isn’t that he can’t read. Apparently he wasn’t being allowed to read the citation, but was ordered to sign it without reading it first.
Where are the federal investigations into steroid abuse by police officers? Abuse that can lead to "roid rage"? Amplified by caffeine abuse by police officers? No Doz in coffee is not healthy but I've seen at least one diner that serves so-called "officer coffee" (not a menu listed item but the officers filling out reports on their laptops drink it).
I hope the truck driver takes the Cali taxpayers for all their have. The cop and the commenting supervisor should be fired. Do people really want such gestapo-type of police?
