I miss America when men were supposed to be decent and good. I miss America when pregnant women were Not sent to the front lines in combat. I miss America when it tried to live within it's means and on a budget. I miss America when religion was considered to be good rather than to be suppressed.
My children miss America, when school lunches were OK and they didn't consider it vomit and went hungry for lack of calories. They miss being told to consider things for themselves rather than being told by the government.
My children will miss when government promoted one man, one woman to make good citizens instead of using those who jumped over our fences. My children will miss being able to choose health insurance for themselves and their families instead to be forced into useless, expensive and limiting govenment healthcare.
Lord, I miss America.

That was the peak of the American republic....as the 1960s went along the nation fell into decline. We are now some kind of twisted welfare state/combo flop-house for the third world. There are no borders, no culture, no jobs & within the next generation or two there will no longer be any America....or at least an America that any of us remember.
Was it Matamoros that got the big stores? I recall a few years ago of one of the towns had a bad fire and photos of it showed shacks with big oversized plywood midway-type facades. Was that Progresso?

The movement of people and lines of demarcation of a new republic would present a problem, but should be negotiable. Rogue cultists and the perpetual entitlement/parasite/victim class need not apply....

Sure changed, didn’t it!! I heard that “Disco” is still open and it’s closest to the bridge. Huge store and you would love it. I get so tired of people who don’t realize the really beautiful work the Mexicans can do. Carved wood furniture, stained glass lamps, inlayed wood, embroidered apparel, silver jewelery with precious stones, etc, etc.
