I think I figured it out...apparently NBC showed the first half which went through Estes Park and I didn’t set that to record. I caught it part way through. Then NBCSports picked up the last half once they were well on their way to Fort Collins.
I wish they would have advertised the switch but I’m glad they gave us the entire stage in 2 parts instead of replaying only part of it twice.
Well, its all done. Not much excitement at the end. Sagan takes his fourth stage and Tejay has won the USAproChallenge.

My husband and I were gone all day on Sunday. I set the DVR to record only the 2-hour block on NBC Sports Network. So last night we're watching the final stage of the race... we get to the end only to hear Phil Liggett tell viewers to switch to NBC for the final part of the race. Grrr!!!
So we missed the all-important final miles of the race. Would have been nice to see the final sprint, and the podiums. Oh well... thank goodness for Baynative's thread!

Then NBCSports picked up the last half once they were well on their way to Fort Collins.The way NBC went back and forth between their regular NBC channel and NBC SN during this race and Tour de France really ticked me off... especially the USA Pro Challenge coverage, splitting one stage into parts between the two channels.
I miss the old Versus Network...
