I wished Free Republic would ban threads about Pit Bulls. The idiocy of most posters is embarrassing.
And I wish Free Republic would ban threads BY snake handlers.
And some of those dog shooters probably live near you.
I know there are good pit bulls. I would not trust any aggressive dog if it could cause harm to me or mine. Do pits make me nervous? Yes, guess I profile. But, I have known some nice ones. I got bit by a border collie a couple of years ago. Totally my fault. I would not punish that dog for my mistake. This dog is behaving aggressively and not being controlled. Pit or poodle, it is a bad situation. It happens to be a fact that a pit is more likely to cause more damage more quickly.
