Mornin' to you on this new UT home thread, T-C. I followed it live for the first 420 or so posts, and it holds some of the best comedic interplay I've seen on FR in my admittedly short 2+ years as a FReeper.

Happy Birthday to you, ThomasThomas, though it's belated, since I've been given to understand that it was actually on the 2nd. It's almost the 7th here now, so you may want to return the cake or have it checked for shelf-life extension eligibility. Or a time warp upgrade.

Good morning! I didn’t find the thread until the next day, and by then it was too late for the best humor.

There’s a swarm of hummingbirds outside my window. If the rain doesn’t stop, I’ll have to go out in it to refill the feeders.

No swarm of hummingbirds here, but I did have a murder of crows waiting outside when I emerged to carry the bag containing our kitchen garbage to the curbside collection basket enclosure this morning.

They're "feeders" of a sort, if the netting over them isn't securely in place, but much messier than the ones you've described.

We get dogs and raccoons in the trash, if the bins aren’t secure.
