WOODSTOCK, Alabama -€“ Ms. Redneck Alabama was not your average kind of pageant.
Instead of dresses, contestants showed off cowboy boots and Daisy Dukes. Instead of singing "The Star-Spangled Banner," some of them sang "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)" by Luke Bryan or "Gunpowder and Lead" by Miranda Lambert.
More than 100 people turned out for the event Saturday at the Woodstock Festival Art Center. The event was the first of its kind to be held there, said Shelia Gunter, who helped organize it. The center normally hosts bands and other local artists.

Went to a University of Georgia football game. Amazing how the whole city was crawling with ladies in nice dresses and men in suits (regardless of temperature).
The second one from the right (our right) looks like she just stepped off a plane from New York City.

I agree. I wish that fad would go away. God made young people so beautiful. Marring themselves with tattoos is like taking a Sharpie and drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa.
Just my opinion.
That was also part of my response. But, limited piercings and weird hair are minor and they heal up. Tattoos are a different story.
