A kitten thats believed to be just four weeks old has been found abandoned on a London Underground train.
The tiny feline was handed into Tube station staff when commuters discovered her on a District line service on Monday evening. Its unclear how she ended up on the network.
Shes now in the safe hands of animal charity Blue Cross, which said a sticky substance had covered her dark fur.
Nurses have named her Victoria based on where she was treated at the charitys animal hospital, which is in the central London area. After all, other options including Piccadilly, District and Circle just didnt seem right for her.
A London Underground spokesperson said: We see a lot of lost property at Victoria station, but it isnt usually so wriggly!
Her age means that she needs round-the-clock care, as Victorias mother would normally be feeding her.
Victoria is going to be taken to the Blue Cross rehoming centre next week, where its hoped shell find a loving new owner.
Looks like its all change for this well-travelled kitten.

If this cat had been found on Boston’s MBTA, she’d have to be named “Charlie”, but “Victoria” works for a British kitty found on the Tube.

The tongue in that position is a cat’s “I’m hungry” sign.

You’re attempting to brainwash us with pictures of cute kittens.
It won’t work.

Wish I could get hold of the person who abandoned that tiny baby. Was it really too much trouble to drop her off at a shelter?
With the publicity (and the pics), I bet she will get a good home very soon.
