What is your situational awareness like? Have you informed your family of potential violence in case of a "NOT GUILTY" verdict? Have you "up-gunned" or done other physical protecive measures? Have you prepared your pantry similar to a winter storm coming?
What are you doing, or are prepared to do to protect yourself, your family, your community, and the Constitution?
I live in a rural area of northern Idaho. I planned it this way.
I don’t expect any trouble at all, dammit!
The biggest challenge we face up here is deciding which one of our “assault weapons” we would take to the party.
Molon Labe!
I’ll probably stay out of the District, as well as DC Ward 9 (Southern PG County) for a day or two.
Oh, wait, I try to stay out of the District & Ward 9 anyway.
Never mind.
What? me worry? I left the USSA ten years ago.
Depending on when the verdict comes in, I simply might be watching the riots on TV at the bar.
I'm with you, but my office in in SWLR - if the lesser informed among us wish to kick off a riot, it will be there. I keep two weapons in the office and one on me - maybe a bit more ammo for the next week in order to get to Conway under duress, if needed...
Any chance they'd be dumb enough to torch the hotel where the convention is?
Not much to worry about here in NC, either. Most of our local agitators have already been arrested thanks to their stupid “Moral Monday” protests in Raleigh. Have to drive a bit for turkey, deer and bass can be found close by. Like the sound of those low taxes though.
I was thinking about this today. I was working in North Minneapolis and wondered what I would do if Zimmerman was acquitted today. I wouldn’t want to be the ghetto whipping boy if there was a riot.
There won’t be any problem here. Perhaps in Tallahassee or Pensacola but they are both 100 miles away. If there is rioting in Atlanta or Miami then Tallahassee will get a small group who will break a couple of windows and march around carrying signs for a few hours.
That's assuming a "not guilty" verdict, of course...
I am going to go to a gun show.
I’m so far in the sticks that a riot consists of a pissed-off moose running up the middle of the road. What do I intend to do about it? Call my sister.
I live in a rural area of Florida and do not expect any problem unless a single person or single car full try to just murder me for being White.
When I go to the small towns around here I also do not expect and problems but I will be more observant than normal and I am pretty observant all the time.
A few minor changes is I now keep a Browning Hi-power with an extra capacity mag in the car at all times. I also have a 30 round mag as a spare. All are loaded and one in the chamber with hammer cocked and safety on.
I also ordered a Cold Steel Blackthorne walking stick. It looks totally innocent with no metal pins etc. to hide a mechanism. But it does have a heavy ball handle which would take care of any attacker, at least if I got a good lick on him. That last would be up to me.
No flat panel tv’s being pilfered?
The Judge will find Zimmerman gusty of something....She has her orders from the White House.
I am carrying my concealed .45 Sig.And unlike a lot of people I’ll be looking around to see whats going on around me.
Today you walk around outside and people are totally unaware of what is happening around them.Thier plugged into the Ipod or texting or talking on the telephone .Oblivious to predators who are in their vicinity.
My Advice is wake up people.
“He will be found guilty.”

In which case, the darkies will riot in CELEBRATION.
guilty
What? No pool? (the betting kind)
What about the scenario where the jury acquits him and then Holder announces that he’s going to go after him on some BS “civil rights” charge? A la Rodney King.
