Perhaps “alleged victim.” I do not know the actual law and do not care enough to look it up. I do recall from listening to the argument that it included a phrase like “...Or designated representative.”
State tried to keep Crump in along with Tracy and Sybrina until defense defined the word “or” for them. He was then sent away.
Just think, bc the defense deposed Crump and kept him on the witness list till the end he could not parade in and out at the trial. Small blessing, but blessing none the less.
