Actually it was RFK that carpetbagged to New York. They were both more effective at getting people to vote for them than Keyes, Keyes has never topped 40% of the vote. Had Ryan stuck it out he might have won, sex scandals aren’t nearly as big a deal as they used to be, but he didn’t stick it out.
