Bottom line is she is made up for the show to look a lot softer than she really is which is rough and nasty

Under a liberal amount of makeup lives an old crone control freak.
I’ve been a heavy Photoshop user for twenty years, and I don’t see any telltale signs that the image has been manipulated. No inexplicable soft spots, there are areas that would have been improved, if someone were to have been idealizing the image, especially the neck.
That’s just very skillfully applied makeup, imho. Favorable lighting, too.

That pic is well lit and may also show a younger version... of our technical virgin. But there is no way to mask those lines above her mouth (smoker’s wrinkles, BTW—has she ever smoked?) without retouching. There was a time that photo retouching used airbrushing rather than Photoshop. I remember that there was a joke among some book cover artists that they brushed so hard that the picture disappeared entirely. Whatever has been used, no makeup can make those lines go away, unless they used drywall spackle.

Enlarge the image on your screen, they’re there. Looks like whoever made her up used some kind of subtle transparent red to extend the appearance of lips out to conceal most of those lines, which do appear to be smoker’s wrinkles, you’re right about that. The deepest, longest ones still show though. There’s a reason she’s always grinning broadly on television or in PR photos.

I imagine that they must have to start with the makeup early in the day to get this one ready for TV. I bet it takes even longer to get Moosechelle ready for any kind of appearance.

I have never understood EDG’s appeal. She is boring and ugly, and that is normally fatal for an entertainer.
