Indeed.
I love it when someone announces they might have found more earth-like planets then forget to mention that it would take thousand of years to reach the closest one with current technology.
I am a huge fan of space exploration but I have come to realize that the human race might explore some of our own solar system with manned flights, interstellar travel in an impossibility now and for hundreds of years and perhaps forever.

Yet, it’s so obvious that creatures travel trillions of miles to make crop circles in Yorkshire and inspect the colon of a red neck in leaving a bar in Louisville. They must have teenagers after all.

On the other hand, it's pretty amazing that Voyager has got to where it is simply by coasting with a couple of gravity assist boosts from Jupiter and Saturn. Having any kind of propulsion would totally change the ballgame.
