I get your point but, at that time, the rebels were the left-wing extremists. Those who fought for King and Country were the right-wing loyalists.

When it comes to having the means to protect from tyranny and feed oneself if need be, there is no LEFT or RIGHT descriptor need - a simple PATRIOT will suffice.

As with King George, we have an out of control government today that is oppressing the people and limiting their freedom. The revolutionaries were fighting for the same concerns our Tea Party espouses such as limited government.
