I understand that, I meant that my levels will be within normal limits. My life will be about no carbs, more exercise. Actually not a bad life to lead.

Hell when planning food storage and prepper stuff.

I know what you mean about planning food storage and prepper stuff.
If you know how to cold-pack can, it's not that hard with vegetables, but it takes lots of time.
And meat, or to make jerky isn't that hard but it's a learned thing that takes practice.
Today's packaged, dried, prepared foods have too many carbohydrates in them, for diabetics.
But you'll have to play with the recipes to get control of your diabetes.
And if you don't want to grow your own garden, then you need access to a good farmers' market.
You can watch the grocery stores and find out when they reduce the prices of some of their produce and save some money, but that produce usually has to be worked and put up immediately, when you get home.
