RECON TRIP!
I've found two suitable cottage/cabin facilities that can accommodate our group for next years TCMS.
Mill Creek Ranch Resort
(available Oct16 weekend)
and
Lake Whitney Marina
(available both weekends)
mylife will look into less known possibilities.
Ah yep..that be us! LOL
Maybe I can talk them into shipping a 6 bedroom houseboat to TX...

Other than this list...I think we are going to have a hard time finding a place that has enough cabins, etc. near the lease.
Like I said before though, we could always do the hotel thing in the Fort Worth stockyards or the Grapevine Gaylord Opryland hotel or Wolf Lodge in Grapevine(which young kids love).

Not 20 minutes total. 20 minutes from Lancaster to the lease. Still 30 minutes from NYT’s to Lancaster. 45-50 minutes total from NYT’s.
If we need to avoid State Fair traffic on the south loop around Dallas and/or I-45, that’s the best way to do it. Otherwise, we’ll just take I-20 across.
Anytime I think of houseboats I think of ‘Cape Fear’ and Robert Mitchum or the later version with Robert Deniero...lol. Scary movie!!
I know these are not cabins but very nice and 25 mins from the range.
