Yes, I’ve seen him do both. He made me hate him in “Johnny Mnemonic” and a few other vehicles, but he was convincingly good in several other
movies, especially when he worked with Brandon Lee in “Showdown in Little Tokyo.” We have that one on laser disc, believe it or not.
He has a PhD in chemistry and chemical engineering. A very bright man and an accomplished actor and martial artist, he began directing in 2004.
Being an actor has never even crossed my mind, so I have no idea whether I can act. However, I do know that I can’t manufacture tears on cue

The trick is where he cut the little notch out of the folded tip of the foil strip. It narrows the current path down so it generates heat.
Once, I had a 9V battery I needed to take somewhere so I threw it in my pocket. Unfortunately, I also had my keys in that pocket, so it shorted the two connections on the top and it got hotter than all get-out in my pocket. Didn’t catch fire but I burned my leg a little.
