Here's a message for God, today...
For all those who have lost their dads, this Father's Day,
May the happy memories, bring smiles of remembered love.
I remember telling my son, when my father died. I said, “Joe, Daddy died”. In that moment, I was a little girl, and he became “Daddy” again.
I hope your Sunday is blessed too! (((hugs)))

Lovely, yorkie. Thank you.
OOPS #204 to you, too, Jaidyn
Thanks for all the pretty pictures, comments and lovely blessings. I’ve had tummy troubles today so I just rested and napped off and on today. But I always enjoy seeing what my good friends have posted. Thank all of you and may God Bless.
And Fathers everywhere, I wish you a very Happy Father’s Day. I miss my Father and my Hubby on this day but am grateful for my two sons!

A colleague recently shared an experience I dont intend to try personallybungee jumping. I found his description of the event both fascinating and terrifying. To think of jumping headfirst from a bridge hundreds of feet in the air suspended only by a giant rubber band is not my idea of a good time. But his leap was not without support. He described not one, but two heavy-duty harnesses that secured him to his lifelineand to safety. The careful design and proven testing of those harnesses gave him great confidence as he jumped into the air.
As I listened, it occurred to me that for the follower of Christ, living in a sinful world is not a blind leap of faith. We too have a pair of protections that can secure us in even the darkest times of life. In Ephesians 2:8-9, Paul wrote these words, For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Its in these twin harnessesGods grace and faith in the finished work of Jesusthat our relationship with God safely rests. In the strength of these provisions, salvation is not a risky leap into the void. Its an

Then I remember how the society of the day found fault with Jesus Christ and his apostles.
Pay no attention to critics, they are doing the work of Satan, knowingly or not!!! MO
Nothing good comes from the fault finders, without proof. MO!
Thank you to Everyone for the Father's Day Posts Yesterday.

Thank you yorkie for that Father’s Day post.
I had the opportunity to surprise my bride-to-be on at trip home. She was expecting to see her aunt arrive but it was me in my Dress Blues Uniform.
Thank you again for this tribute. I had to use a few Bounty paper towels as I watch all the home-comings!
I just viewed this one and it may take a while for me to recover......these really tug at my heartstrings! I love’em but they sure make the tears roll down. Thank you, yorkie.
Kim Peek was a savant (a person with extraordinary memory) who memorized all of Shakespeares plays. During a performance of Twelfth Night, Peek noticed that the actor had skipped a word from one of the lines. Peek suddenly stood up and shouted, Stop! The actor apologized and said he didnt think anyone would mind. Peek replied, Shakespeare would.
Words matter. But especially when they are the very words of God. Moses warned Israel, You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God (Deut. 4:2). Moses often reminded Israel of Gods mercy and faithfulness to them in the past. But he also stressed the importance of obedience to Gods commands as they prepared to enter the Promised Land. He told them that obedience would result in blessings of life and a rich inheritance (vv.39-40). Every command and regulation mattered to God. The value His people placed on Gods Word showed their view of Him.
Today, when we value Gods Word, handle it with great care, and obey what it says, we give God the reverence He truly deserves.

Love butterfly’s.
For the past 2 days I have had barn swallows having a good time flying in and out of my garage. Pretty birds but please stay out of my garage... :)
It’s more important to watch the butterflies than to do chores. :)
Happy Tuesday, Megs! (((hugs)))
Good Morning, Meg!
Thank you for posting that beautiful butterfly! :-)
