Try running Kaspersky tdsskiller, free from Kaspersky's site and it will find things that Malwarebytes won't.
Have used it several times on friends and relatives computers.
It will *root out* stuff in the registry that other anti virus programs will miss.

it lists W8, W7 and Vista, does it run on XP also or was i on the wrong page?
