A young hunter in Texas has bagged the largest alligator ever certified in the state, weighing 800 pounds and measuring 14 feet, 3 inches.

For Braxton Bielski, 18, it was a dream come true because he had grown up with a fascination for dinosaurs and always wanted to hunt prehistoric-looking alligators, sometimes referred to as “living dinosaurs.”

Killing for fun marks a sickness of the soul.

Defending that is a mark of someone empty.

Years ago there used to be an anti-warchild ping list.

Not joking.

The Bielskis were among 481 applicants for a coveted Texas Parks and Wildlife Department public hunt that allows only 10 permits. --snip--The hunt occurred on Choke Canyon Reservoir as a means of keeping gator numbers in check. (This season, Texas offered 165 permits statewide to hunt gators on five wildlife management areas.) So, what's your beef? It was a permitted hunt, by the Parks Dept to keep gator numbers in check. Sounds like a legitimate kill to me.

Wow, are you a wuss. Have you ever heard of overpopulation? Alligators (deer, etc.) are controlled by hunters. Do you grow your own food, are you a vegan or do you shop at Kroger? Go check out PETAkillsanimals .co

I suppose it never occurred to you, genius, that the ‘pus’ was another intentional reference to you. My spell check is automatic, I chose to ignore it ... how that hook in your lip feeling?

I’m going to need a bigger tractor:)
Had alligator file gumbo two days ago. Next is deep fried panko coated alligator.

Oh and that does not look like a Yeti cooler in there.
