Long term career? Probably better off.
>>The 5-foot-11, 162-pound senior said he wants to make it as a rapper<<
Why does every black guy think he/she is a professional-grade rapper (whatever the hell that is)?
It is all just syncopated speaking — Maynard T. Krebs would have been hailed as a brilliant rapper if he just was black and threw in “’ho” and a lot of f-bombs.
This kid is too stupid to be in football anyway — it requires much more thought than he is capable of.
I commend the kid for following his dream. He’ll still be young should his rap career fail, but that failure beats looking back and wondering “What if?” if he doesn’t give it a try.
As we all know, rapping requires at least four years of classroom time, labs, independent study and tutorials to acquire real proficiency. Otherwise you’re just a dilettante
Aspiring rapper... that’s almost the world’s deadliest profession (after being an Iranian nuclear physicist).
One thing this guy won’t need is a resume.
Yo dawg my name ain’t Sparty.
The time has come, we ain’t no party.
We beez here and that is clear.
Gets out my way, you better fear.
Good for him.
At least someone has a plan.
maybe he is a better rapper than a football player, but as a football player his rapper aspirations would be the personal interest angle that would have been repeated often.
So, he couldn’t get his education and play football while aspiring to be a rapper? You know, go to plan 2 if plan 1 fails? SMMFH!!!!
Low probability event.
Like attorneys, a rare few make big bucks, but most are peons.
At 5/11, 162lbs....This kid would actually get killed quicker on the football field than as a rapper. Dude is a stick
