With almost no evidence that she committed the crime, Jody Arias was convicted yesterday of Murder in the First Degree.
This travesty, this miscarriage of justice, cannot stand. This woman is clearly NOT GUILTY and has been horribly framed. It was obvious that when defending oneself, one must shoot one's boyfriend, then stab stab him 29 times, then dispose of the gun in the desert.
I feel so sorry for Jody Arias, who has been unfairly railroaded by an uncaring and fairness-free legal system. She has been persecuted by lying and manipulative prosecutors. She is the modern Joan of Arc, being burned at the stake for other people's sins. She is innocent, and actually should be made into the Patron Saint of the Falsely Accused.
Look, she explained it all away anyways. First of all, she wasn't there. Secondly, she opened the door for two ninjas by accident and they killed the the guy. Third, she killed the guy, but it was in self defense. Fourth, she had to kill him in self-defense, after all, he was getting out of the shower stall. It all makes sense!
Please join me in my attempt to reverse this horrible injustice, and if in the process of helping me free her, you happen to meet her, mention my name: Laz A. Mataz, and give her this phone number. So call me, maybe? Any gal who shoots their guy then stabs him 30 more times, has the sort of commitment to follow-through I am looking for in a woman.
Not me.They don't make enough Saran Wrap to allow me to feel "protected"
Such skill takes practice. Lots of practice.
Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge. Say no more.

Misplaced sympathy for a murderous, self-absorbed woman who gets her kicks out of the aftermath of this heinous crime?
Jeff Chandler might have been one.
In JA’s case she’s excepionally unappealing without clothes.
Let me guess- you are female?
Why women think they can judge female attractiveness is beyond me. That’s how you all end up with short hair cuts that all your friends tell you is “so cute!”
Actually, using my long-time schtick of "I'd hit it" to skewer a society -- ours -- in which looks and appearences and impressions have become more important than deeds.
Thackney had it right, the only one who really got what I was doing. I just adopted the mindset of an Obamabot. Obama 'looks cool' to them so no matter how inept, how malevolent, they excuse him.
Transplanted that mindset to this article.
But don't tell anyone.
SHHHHHHHUSH!
If she hears, I won't get a chance to hit it.
i think it’s hilarious.....ymmv....
That might be for the best, since we already know she hits back. ;)
The prosecutor himself called the company that Travis worked for a “pyramid scheme”. Supposedly people were buying “legal services” ahead of time but it was all just a pyramid so that new investors could pay off the ones before them.
Of course the company never provided any real legal services when people got in trouble. Jodi herself was also part of the pyramid but it was the Arizona taxpayers who had to pay for her defense.
Are you implying there is a stick up a certain member’s anatomical region?
You sure brought out all the dour and humorless Freepers today.
This is one I’d like cuffed before/during/after I hit it. She’d probably volunteer.
Surely not I.
That would be in poor taste.
Interesting.
Can I interest you in my prepaid legal services offer?
....and the ones who don't get the deeper message. :)
Starkissed doesn't want tuna in poor tase. Starkissed wants tuna that tastes poor.
No it didn’t.
I took your advice and did some checking.
Agree about the “not in good shape” part but in the pantheon of women, she’s still much closer to a 10 than a zero.
