Being a veteran of two whole years does not automatically guarantee you a spot at Arlington. You must have exemplary service to be buried at Arlington because of the lack of room.One would think, but the story says that her husband is buried there, so there's probably a reg that says she's entitled to the plot next to him. I seriously doubt, however, that anyone can sell or give away their plot, but considering the times....

I seriously doubt, however, that anyone can sell or give away their plot, but considering the times.... National Cemetery and V.A. Veterans Cemeteries bury first deceased deep at about 7-8 feet deep and when surviving spouse passes that spouse is buried at about 5 feet in their spouses grave. 100% certain on that one I used to work at one. I'm not certain that qualifying spouse must also be buried there though.

Spouses of veterans are buried in the same plot, so she wouldn’t have the one next to her husband, she’d be having her husband sharing the same plot with the fiend. It’s not going to happen regardless.
