Hey, folks! Take another gander at that 1912 World Series photo.

Can anyone find one woman in that crowd? The only women I see are the two on the billboard in the rear.

1912 might have been a little early, but my brother told me that our grandmother (a DEVOTED Red Socks fan) used to go the the World Series on her own. I’m assuming that was when she live in NY, because when she live in Mass it would have involved driving, but in NY she could have taken the train.

SO, say in the 1930s.
