Lincoln was the first of four U.S. Presidents to be assassinated. There was one individual that was at the death bed of three of those Presidents and another that was the Dr. to attend to two of them...any guesses?

Robert Todd Lincoln was at his father’s deathbed, he was in the train depot when Garfield was shot and he served on McKinley’s cabinet. Dr. Doctor Bliss (yes, his first name was Doctor) “treated” both Lincoln and Garfield. He actually killed Garfield by probing around for the bullet and infecting the wound which led to his eventual death months later. People revived an 18th century poem’s stanza “Ignorance is Bliss” to denigrate this “Physician” which ignored Lister’s warnings about antiseptic cleansing of hands and tools.
