When the team won (always against mediocre opponents) it was due to the unfamiliarity of Tebow's style - when they finished 1-4 it was because Tebow's style was no longer unfamiliar.

Somebody should have clued in the Steelers to Tebow's style.

Then he would have finished 0-5 rather than 1-4.

Manning started out 2-3 the following year.

The bottom line is Tebow had a very good season.

Manning trended up, Tebow down.

I think it's safe to assume that the Steelers were clued in about Tebow. They still couldn't beat him. Two of Tebow's four losses were against a very good Patriots team.

Manning started out 2-3 the following year. The bottom line is Tebow had a very good season.

The point is Manning started the year with a team that was very similar to and probably better than the one Tebow finished with.
