Its gotten to the point where the Florida Highway Patrol in Jacksonville have been accustomed to Jeff Gray video recording them, which is why most dont bother him when he does.
But all it takes is one ignorant cop to make them all look bad.
At least in this case, the other cop whom she called for back-up didnt join her in violating Grays Constitutional rights.
So in this case, she is left on her own looking like a bully with a badge after slapping Grays camera. Thats assault, after all.
Her name is Thompson and she doesnt appear to be a rookie. In fact, the stripes on her arm indicate she is a sergeant.
But still, she was stupid enough to say the following:
By law, you cant videotape me if I dont give you permission to.
She beckoned for back-up where a male police officer apparently informed her that Gray was within his legal rights to record her, so she stepped back inside her patrol car and drove off without saying another word.

Unless the drug couriers fly completely different airlines from me, when you exit is entirely dependent on where you sit.
Im 71, not as fast as I used to be. I walk a lot to keep the knees from doing the tin man freeze. I have a walking stick and few pay attempting to me as I sit on a bench near a 4 way stop and vid people blowing the STOP sign. If people notice, they see an old guy sitting on a bench...few realize my hi tech GoPro Hero 3 is what is mounted on the end of my walking stick. And with the stick leaning against the bench, out of my reach, who would guess its internal WiFi is being activated by a tiny remote in my hand? Got about 30 of them blowing the stop signs, and yesterday, a jewel, our community security vehicle blowing the stop sign....the same guy that hands out the tickets to people who blow the stop signs. About 20 more and up to YouTube it goes...did I say I was 71. Hmmm old guy, but one who is having a ball with the technology.
She shouldn’t have touched the camera. The only thing she did correctly was stop and investigate a suspicious person. Oh two things right; she went on her merry way without digging her hole deeper.
Yeah its horrible for our public servants to be scrutinized.
“Seat belt enforcement is a revenue generator. Nothing to do with safety.”
As are all ‘traffic citations’.
“cops”
I know that it is more difficult to say but I prefer the phrase, “Big Brother’s Thugs’ or ‘BBT’s’.
Improper lane change. And, if you dispute it, Disorderly Conduct and off to jail you go, and your car goes to an impound lot for $100+ per night.
GoPro Hero 3 doesn’t look very easy to camouflage.
Wow. The sergeant is black. What a shock this is. (And I don’t care of the photographer is a DUmmie). I like what he’s doing...making movies of police driving without seat belts. As an aside, their window tinting is dark enough to get a civilian a ticket in AZ, where the sun shines brightly.
Teaching the ignorant, one JBT at a time.
“She” was smash mouthing the law. Her lips were flapping a mile a minute and I was waiting for her to wag her head and start cussing. Big ego, small brian. A whole lot of dyke goin’ on there. : )
I noticed the camera guy called it “sir.” LOL Simple things are terribly confusing these days in the land of liberal insanity.
The camera guy was probably aware of her sex and gender and decided the gender should take priority over her sex while laughing inside.
He must crave being scrutinized...
Try an IBA with its integrated pouches and your M-4 in Iraqganastan where, yes, you still have to wear a seat-belt in your humvee.
Sorry, but I disagree; if we make soldiers buckle up in active combat zones, then the police should not be afforded any leniency in the matter.
Da Ho will get away with it. Count on it.
As to cops and seatbelts, in Texas the Highway Patrol seems to always use them, but then again they don’t try to equip up like some damn hardware store.
No need ro camo it, it is off by itself , people don’t even notice it.
