Police in Louisiana continued to reveal that gangster cop attitude that has become so visible in this country thanks to the advent of online videos.
It was only a few years ago that we were forced to take the word of police on the facts that lead up to an arrest.
Now were seeing a systematic thug-like attitude within the police ranks throughout almost every law enforcement agency in the country because more and more citizens are asserting their right to record in public. The latest case comes from Louisiana, as we can see in a Live Leak video that was posted 14 hours ago at this time although it is not clear when it was recorded nor when.
It shows that a man sitting in his own car at least 50 feet away from police officers during a traffic stop get arrested because he did nothing but video record.
The video is long but worth a watch because the citizen is very knowledgeable of his rights but he gets arrested anyway in a disturbing abuse of power.
There is a long lag until 8:15 after the initial encounter with police when police return to harass and eventually arrest him.

This is insane. What is the rationale for not allowing people to video tape police? What are they afraid of?
Accountability is what they are afraid of.
We are under the eye of GOVERNMENT street cameras, freeway camereas, building cameras, mobile cameras, you name it.
And they are afrisd of us? Screw these assholes!
The whole damn system is WAY out of control and we have allowed it to happen.
Just more of OK for me but not for thee.
I would like to hear some opinion from our judicial branches on this. I cannot believe this is not a violation of due process at least. I hope the courts have not been siding with the police state on this one too.
The answer is simple...fifty percent of cops are simply thugs in uniform...nothing more. If they enforced drug testing...these guys would generally be laid off the force, and we wouldn’t have to deal with them.
What I find fascinating about these threads is that liberals assume conservatives are uniformly supportive of the cops. These threads indicate quite the opposite.
