Trying to tear meat off a chicken skeleton is an annoyance for many Americans, especially younger ones. So KFC, in what its calling a game changer of a move, is ditching the bones.
The Kentucky-based chicken chain is rolling out its Original Recipe Boneless options on April 14 as it attempts to draw back patrons seeking more portable, convenient foods.

Kfc still tastes great but I belch it up now. People think maybe their problem (possibly at just the one store?) Is old or dirty grease? Too bad, I like the stuff
hahahahahhaahhaaaaaaaaaa lol!!!!!

See? Now THAT’S funny!
KFC has been pretty bad since the 80’s when they were taken over by pepsi
The bones is where the taste is.
“Boneless chickens” - so we’re discussing the Congressional Republicans again?
They could try to fool the food challenged young people by selling the coveted “chicken on a stick”. Advertize it constantly, make it sound really cool, and inject spot shortages to drive up demand and price. You can’t fool all the people all the time, but you can fool the ones that have more money than brains most of the time!
Be careful you don’t choke.
Dollars to donuts, the processed boneless chicken costs less to KFC. Note that at Zaxby’s their “Wings and Things” meal costs more with real wings than with processed boneless wings.
locally, a “value” bucket (8 piece, chicken only) is $12.99 which I think is expensive since the two of us can eat a whole meal for only a couple dollars more at Steak n Shake, or for many many dollars less at home.
I think KFC is nasty, my husband loves it. I’ll get it for him once in a long while.
Chicken on a stick sounds awesome.
A boneless breast stuffed with mozzarella and wrapped in bacon before deep frying.
The crap? I'm one of the "Younger ones", and I LOVE tearing the meat from the bones of *insert animal here*. It's one of those primeval instincts that you can never get rid of.
My thoughts exactly. Those poor chickens, sliding around on their feathers...can we possibly genetically engineer them without bones, feathers, beaks, eyes...
What is God thinting? Not well of us, I’m sure. His “original chicken,” with bones, feathers and beaks was just wonderful.
I’m amazed some politician hasn’t labeled chicken bones a public health hazard.
Why not really name the new boneless chicken sandwich for the person who best fits its description?
Welcome to the new KFC boneless chicken sandwich, “The Obama”. Just like him - soft, yellow and without any backbone. Comes on a Biden Bun.
You want Boehner Fries with that - soft, soggy and tasteless?
I still love KFC Original for the flavor of it. But, I don’t consider it “meal” food.
Once upon a time; bars in upstate New York used to offer ‘city chicken’ on their menus. It was always my belief that the meat source in this product used to go ‘coo, coo’ instead of ‘cluck, cluck’...
Here in Indiana, you can buy a whole small rotisserie roasted chicken at most grocery stores for 5 bucks.
Definitely shows the markup @ KFC.
