1. Repairing a cracked water bottle or a pierced hydration bladder. A little strip of DT is the next best thing to a bandage for an ailing water vessel. Just dry the surface before you try to tape your patch in place, most forms of duct tape dont stick to wet surfaces.
2. Survival arrow fletching. Tear off a few 5-inch pieces, and a long edge of one piece to the arrow shaft, fold the tape lengthwise, and stick the other long edge of that piece to the arrow. Repeat this process one or two more times; trim the vanes to shape with your knife; and you will have a serviceable arrow fletching. 3. Butterfly bandage strips. Cut two small strips of DT, and add a smaller strip across their centers (sticky side to sticky side) to create a makeshift butterfly suture. 4. Make cordage. Twist one or several lengths of duct tape into a cord or rope.

We use duct tape to remove lint and cat hair from clothes and chairs. I keep a couple of rolls in the garage at all times. It also works for “clamps” when gluing stuff back together.
I remember seeing wedding pictures of a bridesmaid that had a duct tape bra for her strapless gown. Even being a man, I bet it hurt to take that thing off her boobs.
That was a great episode. They simulated being stranded on an island with only a pallet of duct tape. They even made a boat out of it and got off the island at the end.

Restraining bad guys or out of control good guys.
Taping blackout curtain edges.
Taping boobytraps to trees or fences or pillars or walls.
Who would have ever thought of that?
Oh that is just tooooo much! LoL
The makers of Gorilla Glue make a DT type tape except their Gorilla Tape has a MUCH stickier adhesive and the tape surface is a bit thicker/heavier ply and black. Awesome stuff.
Is that JB Quick or is there something faster?
AND.....one tip for using JB Quick...
If you have to have a repair that has a smooth as glass finish, wait for the JB Quick to set up a bit then wet your finger well with some saliva (recommend your own) and smoth over the epoxy until smooth. Repeat as necessary keeping your digit well moistened. The epoxy will not stick to your finger and will dry smooth as glass. I use this technique for plastic auto body panel cracks before priming and painting. Saves hundreds on body shop work. Plenty of other applications as well.
“When you are starving in the wild, and your pants start falling down, run a piece of DT through your belt loops and stick it to itself in the front.”
Sorry. That one just cracked me up! Maybe we can send cases of duct tape to the gang bangers to keep their pants up? LOL!
Ping.
