The Nichiren Shoshu Japanese Buddhist sect, which has plenty of adherents here in the States, claims that chanting the phrase “Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo” can bring one material rewards, such as a job, a brand new car, flat screen TV (47’’ diagonal minimum!) I’ve had people swear to me that it works.
A Buddhist chant to get material rewards? That’s too much work. I just play a country music song backwards to get everything back.
