When former 49ers and Raiders offensive lineman Kwame Harris was alleged in January to have assaulted a former boyfriend, it was logical to conclude that Harris, though he had never publicly come out of the closet, is gay.
In an interview with CNN on Friday, Harris admitted the obvious and said he wished he would have acknowledged it when he was still playing.

The football puns will just write themselves.
Eyew.
Who cares? I’m so tired of this crap.......
A hasbeen wants a job. he is broke. needs money. Send him on a diplomatic mission over to Iran, or to North Korea. will not to have to be concerned about him anymore as Iran has no homosexuals and well NK hates America.
Moody, temperamental pickle sniffer in an NFL lineman's body...a bad thing.
No kidding lol.
Bad enough when he's in a luvin mood!
Was he any good? At football, I mean. Other than that, I don’t care about this person. I don’t care what he does with his penis.
Kwame makes me Kwesie.
Eeewh.
He was regarded as a standout college player, but that doesn't always translate into a superior NFL player. He played for Stanford U and won a college ball trophy which made recruiters think that he was going to be big news in the pros.
I remember him as a 49er, less as a Raider because he played five seasons with the Niners and only one season with the Raiders.
When he played for either team, their records weren't very good. Not really his fault, but he was known as an offensive player whose penalties often sent his teams' ball backwards rather than making progress down the field towards the end zone.
He was 'good' as in 'Good enough to play six seasons in the NFL' for a couple of teams that weren't much of a threat on their opponent's schedule.
Ranking him from 1 to 10 as a 'pro football great', he'd be a 2 or 3. Nothing to get excited about.
I'm being kind here.
Thanks for he assessment.
Now I can write, with conviction, “I don’t care what he does with his penis.”
