So I just noticed today that a few of my "Facebook friends" more like 2 people I haven't spoken to in twenty years, had those stupid gay marriage red equality signs up. I defriended them all, anyone else have the same thing happen?

I’m tolerant of it. I just don’t agree with it. And since I don’t agree with it I’m an intolerant bigot even though I tolerate it and treat a gay person like any other person.
I’m still trying to figure the bumper sticker that has blue for the background with a gold/yellow equals sign on it. Anyone know what it is?
People have an innate desire to be accepted among groups and the left has learned a long time ago to capitalize on this. They have painted this like a new ‘civil rights’ movement and really have manipulated the debate for the low info voter type who just wants to think they are on the right side of history.
It really isn’t ‘group think’ per say, it has been drilled and drilled and drilled that they are on the side of love and acceptance and our side is the side of hate and bigotry.
Just marry the mother-in laws too. Maybe it will work out! Maybe they just need some lovin’ too!?
Who are WE to decided!? And especially..who are LIBERALS to decide who these people want to marry! Not only can this women marry the man...they can marry EACH OTHER too!

Yes it is the new “civil rights” movement. Just wait in a couple of years any individual or group who is against gay marriage and states so publicly will be prosecuted with lawsuits or the threat of losing their job. Scary times we’re living in.
It just drives home the point. There are requirements that must be met to get married. And they are equally applied to men and women. THAT is the criteria.
If some man wants to be with a man, CHANGE THE LAW through the legislature or make alternate arrangements for the alternative lifestyle.
I will be congratulating some of my heterosexual friends (with the pink equals profile pictures) on their civil unions as they get married this year and next. So who is you partner? Never refer to either as husband or wife. De-gender their relationship just as they seek to impersonalize all traditional marriages.
Two of my nephews whom I love so I won’t unfriend them. You can go to their wall and change it so that they don’t appear in your news feed. It doesn’t notify them and I protect my serenity. I’m about to do that with my sister in law because she posts up to ten dog related links per day. It’s a bit tedious.
